Growth: This plant will thrive in almost all conditions, but does not thrive in aquariums with high surface current and ripples. Some fish also have it for food.

Special features: The plant has a root tip, usually sharply pointed. We will most likely replace it with Lemna perpusilla, which has several papules on the back of the leaves, while Lemna aequinoctialis has only one.
